Family Offerings

All offerings take place on Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur at Hebrew Union College at 1 West 4th St. (between Mercer and Broadway)

A lively yet intimate service conducted in a sing-a-long format, geared towards families with children ages 0-5. Tots and their parents to join together in celebrating the holidays with songs, prayers, and stories.

A fun and engaging service geared towards families with children in 1st-5th grades. The experience is much like a regular service, with many of the traditional prayers as well as readings from the Torah. An excellent opportunity to allow young children to actively participate in a real High Holy Day service that is both age appropriate and very meaningful.

YOUTH PROGRAM (6th & 7th Grades)

A wonderful opportunity for young teens to transition into the adult High Holy Day services, while still engaging in experiential learning with their peers. Teens spend part of their time in the adult service and then take part in a breakout group with our youth engagement staff where they engage in dynamic learning and activities that enrich their understanding and experience of the High Holy Days.
