YOUNG FAMILY and FAMILY SERVICES

We are pleased to provide both Young Family and Family Services for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. These services, like most of our High Holy Day services, will be at Hebrew Union College/Jewish Institute of Religion, 1 West 4th Street between Broadway and Mercer.  Our Young Family services at 9:15 am are lively yet intimate and conducted in a sing-a-long format, geared towards families with children ages 0-through 2nd grade.

Our Family Services at 10:30 am are engaging, and geared towards families with children in 2nd-5th grades. The experience is much like a regular service, with many of the traditional prayers as well as readings from the Torah--an excellent opportunity to allow children and their families to actively participate in a real High Holy Day service that is both age-appropriate and meaningful. There is no charge, but an RSVP is requested for attendance at the Young Family and Family Services.
